Due to the current economic hardship facing many in South Florida, the number of pets in need has skyrocketed. At the same time the number and size of donations continues to shrink. It is more important than ever to help Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary & Hospital.
We need your help now! - The majority of the pets at shelters do not have the luxury of time - sadly, for many, today may be their last day of hope. Their last chance for life. The happy moments their lives can bring us, quite simply, may never occur. Innocent creatures, with so much life and love to give, were it not for a no kill shelter like Safe Harbor, have no future. These animals are not in a shelter due to their own action. Safe Harbor is a sanctuary for cats and dogs. They come to us in need of medical treatment, or are older animals, of no interest to other shelters. Other shelters have a routine of making space. Our little angels need help and have no way to say "Help Me... Please Help Me..."
Every time a pet finds his or her forever home it becomes apparent that we did well. We can't end the epidemic, but we did not end the life of that one animal. To that animal & those lucky enough to share in it's life, the difference made is unarguable. We soon discover the real question we should be asking is "How can I help?"

Friends Of Safe Harbor - Did you know that monthly giving is an incredibly efficient way to support Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary. For only 50 cents a day, you will be recognized by our Online Community as "A Friend of Safe Harbor." This is a group of dedicated friends like you who make monthly gifts that provide a consistent, reliable income stream, allowing us to focus more resources and lifesaving programs, and less on raising the necessary funds to serve the animals we protect. You will receive a subscription to our e-newsletter and announcements and updates about Safe Harbor and our work on behalf of animals. We will bill your credit card or PayPal account for monthly increments of $15.
Supporting Member - For only a Dollar a Day, you will be recognized by our Online Community as "A Supporting Member of Safe Harbor." This is a group of dedicated supporters like you who make monthly gifts that provide a consistent, reliable income stream, allowing us to focus more resources and lifesaving programs, including low cost spay/neuter programs, helping us raise the necessary funds to serve the animals we protect. You will receive a subscription to our e-newsletter and announcements and updates about Safe Harbor and our work on behalf of animals. You will also be invited to join us at several functions throughout the year to celebrate the work of Safe Harbor on behalf of our animals. We will bill your credit card or PayPal account for monthly increments of $30.
Sustaining Family Member - For Two Dollars a Day, you will be recognized by our Online Community as "A Sustaining Family Member of Safe Harbor." This is a group of dedicated supporters like you who make monthly gifts that provide a consistent, reliable income stream, allowing us to focus more resources and lifesaving programs, including low cost spay/neuter programs, helping us raise the necessary funds to serve the animals we protect. You will receive a subscription to our e-newsletter and announcements and updates about Safe Harbor and our work on behalf of animals. You will also be invited to be our guest at several functions throughout the year to celebrate the work of Safe Harbor on behalf of our animals.
