Mission Statement

Established in 1985, Safe Harbor’s primary mission is to help animals in need. Those that are sick, injured, abused, neglected and abandoned are our first priority. Animals urgently in need of medical care, whether stray or privately owned, are not turned away. We also believe that the ultimate solution to the problem of pet overpopulation and its attendant suffering lies with sterilization not euthanasia. We reflect our commitment to this Mission through our no-kill animal shelter, veterinary hospital with its public and charitable services and low cost spay/neuter program.
